Ms. Vanessa Cole
Vanessa Cole is a neighborhood land developer focused on expanding attainable housing across Texas. She is the co-founder of Cole Klein Builders, a land development and construction company known for delivering high quality residential communities through close collaboration with cities, counties, and engineering partners.
Vanessa leads business development, capital raising, and growth strategy, helping guide projects from early vision through execution while efficiency through driving technology and process improvement.
Cole Klein Builders began with attainable housing and infill neighborhood development and has since expanded into community scale residential land developments ranging from 18 acres to 1,500 acres, with a projected sales volume pipeline of $135 million.
Vanessa has helped advance Houston’s first 3D-printed hybrid home community, reflecting her commitment to innovation and future forward housing delivery. Her leadership has earned her recognition as Pro Builder 40 Under 40 honoree.
In addition to her role at Cole Klein Builders, Vanessa serves on the boards of a Municipal Utility District, the Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation, and Scenic Houston, and is an active member of Ladies in Land and the Greater Houston Builders Association.
